Restoring your vision's natural appearance requires a delicate balance of advanced material science and meticulous artistic craftsmanship — led by Mr Kanti Fatania.
Why Eye Excellence
At Eye Excellence, led by Mr Kanti Fatania, we specialise in the design, fabrication, and precision fitting of bespoke ocular prostheses and complex contact lenses. Operating from our clinic in London, we provide a world-class clinical service for domestic and international patients seeking to reclaim their confidence and ocular health.
Advanced medical polymers that minimize pressure on delicate orbital tissues.
Enhanced cosmetic quality with hand-painted iris matching your companion eye.
Engineered for long-term tissue health, comfort, and lasting resilience.
Micro-tailored fit eliminates gaps that harbour bacteria and chronic discharge.
Advancing Ocular Prosthesis Science
Our clinic is renowned for producing ultra-lightweight ocular prostheses that mirror the depth, vascular pattern, and subtle colour nuances of your natural eye.
Using artistic techniques developed over 30 years, we hand-paint each iris to match your companion eye perfectly under various lighting conditions. This level of attention ensures each patient experiences absolute peace of mind in regards to ocular colour match.
Detailed orbital impressions, colour analysis, and clinical photography of the companion eye under multiple light conditions.
Hand-crafting the prosthesis from advanced biocompatible polymers, sculpted precisely to your orbital contours.
Intricate hand-painting replicating vascular patterns, iris depth, and chromatic nuances for a natural, lifelike result.
Micro-adjustments ensuring optimal motility, comfort, and an aesthetic result that exceeds expectations.
In Search of Optimal Fit
A premium aesthetic appearance is only half of the equation; long-term tissue health and physical comfort are equally vital. Our prostheses are engineered from advanced, ultra-lightweight medical polymers in order to minimise physical pressure on the delicate orbital tissues while maximising natural motility.
Advanced medical-grade materials minimize physical pressure on delicate orbital tissues throughout your waking hours.
Engineered weight distribution and socket contouring allow the prosthesis to move naturally, mirroring your companion eye.
Every bespoke prosthetic is moulded to the precise contours of your eye socket, eliminating hollow gaps where fluid can collect and significantly reducing bacterial spread and chronic discharge risk.
Whether a first-time fitting or replacing an aging, uncomfortable prosthesis, our precise structural shaping ensures a comfortable, irritation-free experience.
Surgical Follow-Up
The journey following surgical eye removal — whether via enucleation (removal of the entire eyeball) or evisceration (removal of the eye contents, leaving the sclera) — can be emotionally and physically challenging.
Mr Kanti Fatania and our specialised clinical team offer comprehensive, highly structured post-operative prosthetic management. By virtue of our extensive experience and relationships across the healthcare space in the UK, we gently guide patients through the healing phase, monitoring tissue contraction, managing socket health, and timing the final prosthetic fitting perfectly.
A compassionate and thorough evaluation of your surgical history, socket condition, and personal goals — setting the foundation for your bespoke prosthetic journey.
Regular clinical review of tissue contraction and socket health, with expert guidance through the early post-operative weeks to ensure optimal tissue remodelling.
Fitting of a conformer or interim prosthesis to maintain the natural socket architecture during healing, preventing tissue contraction and discomfort.
Once the socket has matured, the definitive custom prosthesis is delivered — crafted so your socket remains resilient, comfortable, and prepared to support the prosthesis for decades to come.
Scheduled maintenance appointments ensure ongoing socket resilience, prosthetic comfort, and appearance that endures through the years ahead.

Everything you need to know about ocular prosthetics, specialist contact lenses and your care at Eye Excellence London.
The creation of a bespoke ocular prosthesis typically requires 2 to 3 appointments over a few days, taking roughly between 15 and 20 working days. This allows us to take a precise impression of your socket, sculpt the shape for optimal comfort, hand-paint the iris matching your natural eye, and perform final modifications. For international patients travelling from overseas, we can discuss ways to expedite the process to accommodate your needs, on a case by case basis.
Standard or older acrylic prostheses can place unnecessary downward weight on the lower eyelid and orbital tissues, leading to sagging, discomfort, and altered facial symmetry over time. Our ultra-lightweight medical-grade materials reduce physical strain on the eye socket, dramatically improve comfort, and reduce the risk of infection.
Though the prosthesis is designed to remain in the socket for days or weeks at a time, it is advised to clean the prosthesis after every use, and remove it every evening before bed or when possible, to allow the eye socket to rest. In addition, we highly recommend a professional clinical polish every 12 months to remove protein build-up and surface micro-scratches. Due to natural structural shifts in the eye socket and surrounding tissue, a prosthesis should generally be replaced every 5 to 7 years.
