For adult patients, a premium bespoke prosthesis typically lasts between 5 and 7 years. Over time, while the medical polymer itself remains structurally stable, your underlying orbital tissues and socket geometry will undergo natural, subtle physical shifts.

Children require more frequent replacements to safely keep pace with their natural facial growth.

Always wash your hands thoroughly before handling your prosthesis. Clean the surface using an approved, specialised rigid contact lens cleaner, and rinse meticulously with warm water. Never use regular saline or unapproved chemicals, as they can encourage bacterial growth.
